Peter Selfridge, Associate
Peter Selfridge received his PhD in computer science from the University of Rochester. During 20 years at AT&T and Bell Laboratories he did research and published dozens of papers in the areas of artificial intelligence, knowledge representation, interactive data mining, knowledge management, and 3D web environments. He also was a technical manager for teams developing object-oriented database products and electronic music delivery systems.
More recently he was lead developer and VP Engineering for a NJ-based computer animation company and developed algorithms and software for a molecular modeling software company. He holds 9 joint patents.
Dr. Selfridge is especially skilled in applying his hands-on development knowledge of AI, databases, and related technologies for research on technology trends, requirements definition, technology evaluation, and vendor capabilities assessment.
